Should set-up or production on a machine need to be temporarily paused (for example for scheduled breaks, split screens or any other valid reason why a job is put on hold) you should use the pause button: -
When click pause the following happens: -
The pause icon updates to Red to indicate the job is paused.
The run-time duration counter for the specific (set up or production) phase) is paused.
The time that the job is paused is recorded.
When re-commencing the job, you need to un-pause the process line so that accurate data is recorded.
Unpausing is simply as case of clicking the pause button again
The pause button will no longer be highlighted red
The run-time duration counter for the specific phase begins again
The time that the job was paused is recorded (this is cumulative so if you pause several times during a phase, the total duration of pauses is recorded)
