Sage HR Holiday System

SECTION 1 - ASSESSING ANNUAL HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENTS on Sage HR

The holiday year is 1st February to 31st January.

Annual leave is allocated to employees on the first day of the holiday year or on the day the employee starts with the company.

Holiday requests must be authorised by management before any firm holiday arrangements are made. Agreed holidays are allocated on a “first come – first served” basis to ensure that operational efficiency and staffing levels are maintained throughout the year. The final decision is at manager’s discretion.

At least 4 weeks’ notice of the intention to take holidays of more than one week in duration is required; one week’s notice is enough for odd single days.

For further information please refer to the Employee Handbook section 4.
