In the production process layouts the fulfilment field details how many fulfilments are associated to the job
The following rules apply :-
There are no fulfilments associated to the job.
This means that although
there is no fulfilment directly on the job - some
or all of the output of this job is required
on another fulfilment or fulfilments
To see which fulfilments require items from this job click on
the pink icon
A pop up window will be open showing the jobs and moreover the fulfilments that require items from this job.
If you hover your cursor over the Job Number field you will see the
jobs that are associated to the fulfilment
If we continue looking at the other pink items we can see they are associated to the same fulfilment 728204 - which is in turn attached to job 372689/1
Finally if we look at one of the process lines with a Blue 1 - we can see that it is linked to fulfilment 728204.
So we now know that these three jobs are all associated to fulfilment 728204
In short this is an example of a Many (jobs) to One (Fulfilment)
When the field is Blue and contains one, it means that there are that quantity of fulfilments attached.
However, if the number is 1 - it means
How can I know if it is a) or b) ?
When you drill down to the Fulfilment View layout review the job number and hover your cursor over it - a tool tip will show all the job numbers associated to the Fulfilment.
The screenshot below is therefore 1 to 1
By Contrast when multiple job numbers are shown - it is a many to one
