Variohaze 8902 is an aggressive screen stain remover. It is corrosive and can cause severe burns to the skin and eyes also inhalation of the chemical vapour should be avoided.
Therefore, goggles, full apron, chemical resistant gloves and a face mask must be worn. Exposed skin most also be covered to prevent burns. PPE is located by every work station in the stencil department.

Wearing the appropriate PPE mentioned above, coat both sides of a screen with a coating trough. After a predetermined length of time jet wash the residual chemical off as if left on too long will split the mesh
In case of contact with eyes remove any eyewear, wash the area of contamination immediately with water or the eye wash solution and alert your manager so that he can seek medical attention if necessary. There are three emergency eye wash station in the stencil department If you use the eye wash solution you must let your manager know so that he can arrange for the eyewash solution to be replaced.
In case of contact with skin remove any clothing soiled with the product and wash the area of contamination immediately with soap and water.
There is also running water in the gents and ladies toilets and the staff canteen.
