Notifying Internal Departments

Overview

Goods In staff are responsible for processing Blank Stock


If a received delivery is in respect of an internally placed order for other product types, the Goods In staff notify the staff member who placed the order, that the items are available for them to come and collect and process the receipt

 

Process

  1. Locate PO and navigate to the Delivery Tab
  2. Ensure Delivery Information is populated
  3. Click Received Email Internal to generate email.
  4. A boilerplate email will be created and inserted into your default email application. Note how it uses the location information to notify the staff member where to find the items.

  5. The ordering department is from this point responsible for Processing Items Received on Orders
